Drive and Survive Carp Fishing in Northern France
Bignicourt is 7.5 acres in size and stocked with carp up to 54lb.
Facilities & Information
This natural looking ‘English style’ venue hosts various features such as islands, gravel bars and an abundance of natural wildlife that encompasses the lake.
Bignicourt is best suited to a maximum of 4 anglers per week. The lake has 6 spacious swims and there’s usually the opportunity to move if you fancy a change of scenery during your stay. The stock is estimated at 120 -130 carp with most of these being 20lb to 25lb average up to 54lbs at certain times of year.
The fish stocks include stunning linears and fully scaled mirrors. We feel Bignicourt is an ideal venue for a drive and survive carp fishing holiday near to Calais.
Landing nets, mats and slings are provided however you can bring your own should you wish. We also keep stock of essentials terminal tackle and bait items on site, just in case you forget or run out of anything.

Food Package
We offer a food package which is £125 per person per week.
Full food package includes:
A choice of breakfast baguette (sausage, bacon and egg) or French breakfast (3 warm French pastries) delivered to your swim. Evening meal as from the menu below to be eaten at the lodge or delivered to you swim.
Menu Example
- Saturday – Spaghetti Bolognese with garlic bread
- Sunday – Roast of the week with veg, mash and gravy
- Monday – Chilli with rice
- Tuesday – Lasagna with salad and chips
- Wednesday – A choice of take away kebab/burger with chips etc
- Thursday – Curry with rice, poppadoms and naan bread
- Friday – Bangers and mash with peas and onion gravy
The nearest supermarket is 10 minutes away and the nearest tabac is 15 minutes. There is also a lovely town 15 minutes away if you fancy a day away from fishing or lunch in a bar.

Bignicourt is located approximately 3hrs 30 minutes drive from the port of Calais or roughly 5 hours 25 minutes drive from the port of Caen.

Rules
- No permanently fixed leads
- No braided main line
- No Maggots
- No guns
- No fires (BBQ’s allowed but do not place them directly on the grass)
- No cutting back any bankside vegetation
- Maximum of three rods per angler
- A life jacket must be worn if you need to use the boat
- Landing nets, Mats and Slings are provided. Please don’t bring your own

Bookings are from Saturday (12pm) until the following Saturday (10am).
From £250 per person per week.
