Thousands raised for Guide Dogs Charity.
A couple of weekends ago the Carp Social team attended the Lucy’s Bowl charity carp fishing match which is held at the RK Leisure complex on the Wraysbury South and Wraysbury North lakes near Slough, UK.

Chalet De L’ile is a mature tree lined 17 acre lake and holds approximately 550 carp to 67lbs.
Dream result fishing Leon Lake.
The lads had a dream result fishing at Leon Lake in France despite the hot weather conditions and port delays. Not a huge number of carp caught it has to be said, however Leon Lake is known as a big fish water and that’s exactly what it produced.

Let’s be frank, this year has been a bit upside-down. Scotch eggs, social distancing, face masks and Brexit, we’ve seen it all. The banks have been inundated with full time anglers funded by furlough money and any excuse to get away from the wife and kids for a couple of days. I know, because I was one of them! But anyway, let’s put all of that behind us and get down to the reason we’re all here, to round off the top ten carping moments of 2020.
