Drive & Survive Carp Fishing in France.

LCA Lake is located in Northern France, roughly 2 hours drive from Calais.

Facilities & Information

LCA Lake is a drive and survive carp fishing venue located near the beautiful village of Beauvais in Northern France, roughly 2 hours drive from the port of Calais. The lake is an old gravel pit of approximately 13.5 acres in size with 12 swims and maximum depth down to 18ft. With a maximum of 6 anglers per week, we feel it’s an ideal venue for a social with friends.

LCA Lake is stocked with approximately 300 carp to 50lb and a number of grass carp to 50lb+. The lake has crystal clear water which promotes weed growth, creating a healthy oxygen rich environment full of natural food and some of the best looking dark coloured carp you’re likely to catch. Therefore we feel LCA lake is best suited to anglers who have some experience fishing in weed.

Facilities include a shower and numerous natural toilets. Water, bread and drinks can be purchased on site during peak season. Other groceries are also available on request. Anglers should bring enough batteries/power for a week as there is no power at LCA Lake.

There is an English speaking bailiff present at the venue at all times, to help you with anything you need.

Rules

  1. You are expected to arrive after 11:00 in the morning. This has to do with the fact that the previous anglers have to leave before 10:00 in the morning. This gives us the opportunity to check a few things and make everything in order for you.
  2. It is not possible to book a certain swim. At 12:00 there will be a draw for the swims, unless everyone agrees with the swims between themselves. If you arrive after 12:00, you can pick a swim from the leftovers.
  3. You are allowed to fish with three rods each.
  4. You are required to use a large unhooking mat and a large (minimum of 42″) landing net.

  6. It is not allowed to use tigernuts or any other type of nuts. Crushed nuts are also not allowed.
  7. Only particles that are prepared by LCA Lake or maize from a can are allowed. If you wish to buy particles from LCA Lake (maximum of 12 kg per angler per week) please contact LCA in advance.

  15. You are allowed to use a boat and an electric engine. You are required to wear a life jacket when you are using the boat.
