OVERVIEW
Willow Lake is 2 acres in size and is set in tranquil meadows located a short drive from St Malo port.
The lake is dammed at one end where depths go down to around 10 feet. Depths of around 4 feet can be found at the house end. The lake is arguably one of the most picturesque carp lakes in France and is lined with Willows, Silver Birch and Poplar trees.
The lake is fed by many underground springs and the lake bed varies with gravel, sand and silt areas as features. There’s even a small patch of lilies in the middle of the lake. The far bank is meadow with iris reeds along the margins. There are 4 swims on the lake, all being on the near bank.
FISH STOCK
Willow Lake total stock is roughly 80 fish in 2 acres with a lake record carp of 55lb and catfish to over 100lb.
FACILITIES & FOOD
Accommodation
The accommodation is a brand new spacious 80sq meter wooden lodge. It will sleep 6 with no problems.
The first bedroom has a double bed the second bedroom has a double and a single bed. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could think of needing.
The living area has English free view Sky TV, the TV also has a spare HDMI lead for you plug in laptops or games consoles.
The dining table converts to a full size pool table for the rainy days.
The luxury bathroom is equipped with a rain shower system providing very good and clean washing facilities.
On the side of the lodge has a new 5 metre x 1.2 metre round swimming pool.
Food
Breakfast and evening meals are available from €165 per person.
Meals are prepared fresh on site and could include Full English Breakfast, Breakfast Baguette, Roast Chicken, Beef or Lamb with Yorkshire’s and Roast Potato’s, Shepherds Pie, Cottage Pie, 1/4lber Beef Burgers & Chips, Curry & Rice with Onion bhaji, Pizza & Chips, Chocolate fudge Brownies, Ice cream etc..
Food and accommodation are chargeable extras and are to be arranged with the bailiff prior to your arrival. Payment for food and accommodation is made directly to the bailiff on arrival in euros.
TACKLE & BAIT
Currently Willow Lake stock Boilies, pellet, party mix and maize, all of which will be prepared and ready for your arrival.
Bait is ordered with a minimum of 7 days notice required.

MAP & DIRECTIONS
Willow Lake is just 1 hour 45 minutes drive from the St Malo port, 2 hours 40 minutes drive from Caen or 5 hours 15 minutes drive from Calais.
Directions will be provided on conformation of booking.
RULES
- Arrival time from 14:00pm
- Departure time 10:00am
- No plastic baits to be used
- Please use a minimum of 15lb breaking strain line
- Barbless or micro barb hooks only
- No fixed leads (drop off system only)
- DO NOT leave your rods unattended
- Bait boats are allowed
- No sacking of fish
- Unhooking mats (provided by us) MUST be used at all times. Bring your own nets.
- Please kneel when taking photos of fish, do not stand
- No fires around lake
- No swimming in the lake
- No rubbish or discarded line to be left around the lake
- Life jacket to be worn when using the rowing boat.
